I'm Andrea, the owner and designer behind T-Cakes. But more importantly, I'm the full-time "mommy" to my two little boys, and I'm married to my best friend and biggest supporter. Our days are filled with playing, exploring, and enjoying the tiny pleasures of simple, ordinary moments. But when my wee ones are fast asleep, you can find me creating, crafting, and fulfilling dreams of my own.

Cheetah in Pink
A lovely girl names Brieauna (awesome way to spell it!!) contacted me from my craigslist post and wanted something extra special for her birthday. She loved pink and cheetah of course. I always know girls love their cakes when the squeal when they see it. I know it's a job well done.
Winter "One"derland
Sweet Stephanie (I made her Juicy Couture Baby Shower Cake) called me with a fun picture of a cake that she wanted me to re-create for her niece who was tuning one. I LOVED the way it turned out. Out of the box for me for sure but SUPER fun. I had a blast creating the little penguins who each looked like they had their own little personality. EVERYTHING was edible besides the glass bowl and snowflake on top. This cake was full of glitter and fun and I hope the birthday girl had a day to remember!!!

Happy 60th
My mom and a few friends were having a 60th birthday party Tea for their friend. They asked me to do a finger food dessert so I came up with these adorable cake truffles. I loved the way they turned out. Just enough!
Arrgh!!
So excited when I heard from Rebecca again to do her children's birthday cake again this year. Last year she ordered a huge Yo Gabba Gabba Cake. This year they were throwing a pirate party for PJ and Emma. I had a lot of fun being creative and figuring out how to put together a pirate treasure cake. She also ordered pirate cake pops with both boy and girl colors. SO FUN!! I hope to be a part of their special day for years to come :)

Wedding Week!
I was SO blessed to be able to be a part of two very sweet weddings this past week. It was a very beautiful, yet warm day for the middle of October. I am happy to share these pictures with you :)
The first, sunflower cake was for a sweet young lady named Meghan. Her wedding was a t a private residence in Del Ray. This cake was covered in homemade buttercream and each tier was a different yummy combination. This cake was made to feed around 150 people and probably weighed at least 40 pounds!!
This wedding cake was made for Candace Tanner. I made a few cakes for her in the past for her who little boys. Her and her soon to be husband were getting married at a LOVELY little private vineyard here in Clovis, CA. The venue was breathtaking as I drove up. They were having a small Hawaiian inspired ceremony. I loved how this cake turned out!!

Ok NOW it's time to make the cake!!
So this is the order I made last week that was supposed to be this week ;) You're not seeing double I promise! I loved the way this cake turned out. And I LOVED trying the zebra print cake pops as well.
This order was for one of my husband's co-workers so I hope her and her daughter loved them.

Hawaii
Phyllis attended a party where my cake was being served and called me to order herself a birthday cake. She wanted something small, but pretty and yummy. She loves Hawaii and LOVES peanut butter. So I made her a chocolate, peanut butter cake with Reese's peanut butter cup stuffed buttercream. YUMMO!!!!
Argh Matey!!
My good friend Amber asked me to make cake pops for her guests for Colbie and Daltons birthday party. The theme was pirates and mermaids so I had LOTS of fun! Take a look at what I came up with :)

Oops!!
Today I was working, working, working on a fabulous cake for my husband's co-worker Sonia. I was putting on the finishing touches when I looked in my phone to make sure I have the correct spelling of her daughter's name. I scroll up and it says "I would need this cake on the 8th".......
Yeah, tomorrows the 1st! So, plan "B". I was making a rather small cake for a client named April. She was ordering it for her daughter's 5th birthday. I sent her a message asking if she'd be interested in it at no additional cost. She was extremely excited ;) So her little girl will wake up to a fabulous Hello Kitty and Keroppi cake in the morning on her 5th birthday. I LOVE surprises and I love when things turn out even better that I thought they would :)

Mario Brothers
Do you know how hard it is to keep two little boys away from a Mario cake?? :) This was a super (no pun intended) fun cake to make. It's an edible video game.
I am so glad that Julia called me to be a part of her families special event again. :) I hope Damien and his family enjoys!!!

Adorable!
I LOVED this cake...... and I wanted to keep it for myself. :) This was a fairly large cake at 12". I decided to keep it nice and simple with a monogram on top and a cute little flower. I added some gold luster dust to make it extra girly and shimmery. Inside was my red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream. Really....you can't go wrong. I hope that Cassandra and her little love bug adored their cake!

Couture Cake
My first couture cake. I had so much fun with it!!!! This cake was adorned with a gold pearl trim and Juicy couture charms and key chains.
I also did 4 dozen cupcakes to match! These toppers were designed by a little shop on etsy.com. I printed them and punched them out for the sticks. I LOVED them. Adorable.
Hello Kitty #2 for the Week :)
This was the larger of the two Hello Kitty Cakes. Thre tier cake for Mariah's 1st birthday party. I wanted to eat the bottom tier myself because it was a pound cake with fresh strawberries.....YUM!!!

Two hello Kitty cakes with week. LOTS of pink around the kitchen :)
This was a two tiered cake for a little girl's 6th birthday. I loved being able to use my new hello kitty cutter as well as trying out my bow making skills. I am having a lot of fun trying out gumpaste. :)

Cheetah
I was so excited to try this cheetah print on a cake. This is the first time that I've "painted" like this on a cake and I LOVED the way that it turned out. Also, I tried this peony flower and I can't wait to start trying out more flowers. I think I've become addicted :)

Artsy Cake Pops
A lovely lady named Nicki, who happens to me my mom's massage therapost asked for my number :) She was having a party to celebrate her new home and wanted some "art deco" style cake pops for her friends to munch on. I was pleased with the way these cake pops turned out.
