Shereen contacted me from an online ad and wanted a specific cake for her little one's 1st birthday. This was a very girly and classy cake and I loved the way it turned out. My favorite part of my "job" is seeing reactions from family members when the cake is delivered. Super sweet <3
I have NEVER been asked to do a three tiered mad hatter cake, so of course I did some studying on youtube before taking on this challenge. Although this was a relatively small cake, mad matter cakes take a lot of time to construct. I loved every minute of the nail biting experience and I LOVED the way it turned out :)
This was one of the BIGGEST cakes that I have made in a while :) It was an 8, 12 and 16" three tiered cake that probably weighed a good 50 pounds! I recruited my mom to help me deliver and help me get it to the table. Brooke's wedding was at a local winery not too far away from my house. I loved the touches of vintage charm that she added to the decor. She asked for a very simple ivory cake with lace accents on the center tier. Her soon-to-be brother in law (who is in high school) made the adorable topper for them. I thought it was JUST what the cake needed. I hope to get professional pictures soon!
Love this cake...... I love all girly cakes :) I purchased these characters at the Disney Store and I love the fact that the birthday girl can have an awesome cake, and then get to keep the toys when the yummy cake is all gone :) This is a butter cream cake with fondant decorations.
I love when brides think outside the box and choose a different option other than a huge cake. Janelle contacted me from an online ad and I was excited to meet up with her. She was having a very lovely, vintage style wedding at The Grove in Sanger. She wanted a cupcake buffet for her 150 guests as well as a small cake for her and her new husband to cut for pictures. It was a lovely evening at a lovely venue! Here are a few snap shots I took. I have seen the professional pictures and should be getting a copy soon!
Love it when my clients give me a little freedom to design a cake. Catherine wanted an Old Age themed cake as a funny little gift to her best guy friend. This cake was completely edible with an AARP card, Hair loss cream, and of course the little blue pills :) Thanks for another order Catherine!

I have to admit that I had never, even with two little kids, ever heard of "The Fresh Beat Band." Tiffany, a new facebook friend, contacted me for her daughters 3rd birthday and I had to google the show :) I found a great shop on etsy.com that made custom edible cake toppers and ordered on for Stella's cake. Tiffany asked for bright pinks, green, orange etc, and with the added sparkles I think it turned out great. They later posted that it was the hit of the party :)
Breanna, a long time client asked me to make her daughters cupcakes for her Zebra and Purple themed birthday party. The cupcakes were topped with girly, sparkly flowers guaranteed to make the birthday girl smile :) The cupcake cups were a white and black zebra print.
Our little family friend jared was Turning 6 (I can't believe how time flies!!) and his mommy, and my dear friend contacted me asking for a Rock Star cake and cupcakes. I was timid to try an actual guitar, but I knew I needed to step it up :) I found a rad guitar shaped pan at my local cake decorating shop and gave it a try. I loved the way it turned out and I LOVED his smile in this picture she posted on facebook :-D

One of our new neighbors knocked on my door one Saturday morning asking for business cards :) Kim was one of the people who got her hands on a card and emailed me right away to book her daughters 3rd birthday cake. Kim is a party QUEEN! Everything was super adorable and super organized. She ordered an quilted smash cake with Olivia on it for the birthday girl, and cupcakes, cake pops and marshmallow pops to much. Super Cute!!! It was really nice to see everything come together for her and her adorable family!!

Brittany hired me to do her very large and very purple wedding cake (Pictures coming soon) and later realized that I did flowers as well. She hired me to do her bouquet as well as 4 of her attendants and 8 boutonierres. I delivered them today at noon and I will be delivering her cake in a couple of hours. I really love flowers and I am so happy that they chose me to be a part of their special day.
