Luke, I am your..............

BAKER!! :)

This is the second cake that a very nice lady named Candace has ordered from me. She has two boys and each of them have chosen the theme of the cake they wanted. Haydn chose the Star Wars theme and it was fun to make.

Unfortunetly, Star Wars is literally the ONLY thing that our son Trevor is not into.....yet. I found some adorable cut outs at William Sonoma that worked perfectly for it. I hope that Haydn and his guests enjoyed!! May the force be with you!!

Fairy Dust!!

I was so thrilled when Tiffany called me up and asked me to make a special cake for her little girls birthday. Madeleine was turning 3 and absolutely adores all things "fairy". So, I got out my fabulous edible fairy dust and got to work. :) Tiffany supplied the fairies which aided me in creating this pretty cake. I fell in love with the topper that I happened to find on a trip to Michaels. I hope that Maddy and all of her lovely guests enjoyed her special day!!

GO GIANTS!!

A very lovely lady named Melissa contacted me a few months ago to do a cake for her Grandson's 1st birthday. The family are huge Giants fans, so what could be better?? A giants cake! She gave me a few ideas of what they were looking for and wanted a special baseball "smash" cake for the birthday boy. This was my very first experience with edibal images and I loved the way that it turned out.

This has inspired me to do one for my papa's birthday in October (he's a huge Giants fan as well) ;)

It's your friendly neighborhood Spiderman....AGAIN!!

I always love making anything that has to do with superheros because I get to ask my little Trevor his thoughts on it. :) He thought this was totally cool..... and I was happy with it as well. I also made cupcakes to in the same theme, but forgot to take pictures!! Thank you Amber Ellis for this order..... and I know I'll be hearing from you soon. Happy birthday Caleb!!

Cake for Hopee

After making a cute little birthday cake for Hopee's sister a few months ago, she called me back to order a cake for her baby shower. I LOVED creating this little giraffe. He is 100% edible and made out of rice crispy treats, fondant and was glued together with some melted chocolate. I also put together cake pop favors as a surprise for her. I can't wait to see pictures of Baby Jordan!! :)

Spider Man, Spider Man

Super fun and simple "Smash" cake!! Trevor and his neighborhood guy friends were in awe and all asked for one for their birthdays ;)

You can't rain on their parade!

Wendy Byrd (the finance' of family friends) contacted me back in January and we soon met up at a local Starbucks to chat about her wedding cake. I was so excited to create something for her and Ryan to enjoy and rememeber. I thought that it was super awesome that she requested the top tier to be made with NO filling, because her soon to be hubby disliked "gooey" fillings in desserts. :) Even though it was raining cats on dogs (in the beginning on June) the wedding was a huge success! Congrats to Wendy and Ryan!! (professional pictures to follow)
