Baby Boy

These simple, yet yummy cupcakes were ordered by our neighbor. She was hosting a baby shower for her lovely sister Mary. I can't wait until he comes to visit very soon!!

Hello Kitty

So thrilled when Melissa contacted me again for her daughter's birthday. Hello Kitty seems to be the coolest theme around :) Lots of pink made the birthday girl very happy. I hope she enjoys her party with her family and friends!!

Autumn's Sparkly Day

Autumn is a family friend, and one of my son's little girlfriends :) She requested a Poodle in Paris cake with pink cake for her fun party at My Gym. This cake was girly girl, with pink and flowers and lots of glitter. I heard they had a blast!!

Pirates Attack!

My husbands co-worker called again for another order for his younger son's birthday. Pirates was the theme, and I love this couple because they always know exactly what they want. Super sweet people and I hope their little one had a fabulous day!!

Busy busy!!!

WOW!! This week was a killer in the kitchen. I had a two tiered pirate cake due one Tuesday, a two tiered birthday cake on Friday, An Air Jordan birthday cake with a matching Smash cake Saturday, a two tiered Hello Kitty cake with 2 dozen matching cupcakes, three dozen baby boy baby shower cupcakes, a 3 tiered large wedding cake, 5 bouquets and 8 boutonierres today. Yeah, CRAZY. I am sitting here and everything as been delivered or picked up but the wedding cake. Needless to say I am a little tired, but I am afraid of oversleeping for delivery ;) Stay tuned for PICTURES AND MORE PICTURES :)

2012 Gala

WoW!! A few month ago Sharon Jackson, an event coordinator, contacted me off of one of my online ads. She was coordinating a gala for the Clovis Botanical Garden's 2012 Gala. The committee was interested in 20 cakes to be used for centerpieces and for a cake buffet. I was of course overwhelmed at the thought, but I am also always ready for a challenge. From the 20 pounds of scratch fondant, to the fresh raspberry butter cream and gooey cookies and cream butter cream, these cakes turned out fab! Yes, I was (and still am) exhausted, but it was all worth it when I got an email from Sharon on Sunday saying not only were the cakes delicious and beautiful, but that they added 5 of them to the silent auction. All 5 of my cakes were purchased and they made money for this fabulous Garden. Please check them out at www.clovisbotanicalgarden.com.

Girly Skull

Our photographer Michelle (check her our at shebreathestudio.com)ordered these fun cupcakes for her twin sister's baby shower. Her sister Teresa is expecting a baby girl soon and I love that they chose something non traditional for the shower. I made 4 dozen chocolate cupcakes with homemade chocolate ganache filling and made from scratch cookies and cream frosting. YUMMM!!!!
