I'm Andrea, the owner and designer behind T-Cakes. But more importantly, I'm the full-time "mommy" to my two little boys, and I'm married to my best friend and biggest supporter. Our days are filled with playing, exploring, and enjoying the tiny pleasures of simple, ordinary moments. But when my wee ones are fast asleep, you can find me creating, crafting, and fulfilling dreams of my own.
I adore making these fun adorable cakes. It's so fun to personalize them for each new mom. Some send me pictures of their dresses they are going to be wearing to their shower, some ask for them to match the party theme. This past week I had two ladies ask me to make them. So happy with how they turned out and very happy with the look on their faces when they picked them up. :)
Little Avery was turning 1 and was having a pretty pink party. This cake was ordered for her as well as a lovely little smash cake for her to dig into. This was my first time using both chocolate elements and all the royal icing detailed work in one cake. I really loved how it turned out!!!
I was so excited to make this precious cake for Honeylove's 2nd birthday. Her auntie wanted a girly girl, sparkly cake. These cheetah cake pops were another first for me and I LOVED the way that they turned out!!
A family friend, Kendall came to me and asked me to make a special Anniversary cake for his parents' 50th Anniversary. I am so thrilled to be a small part of such a big event.
I had never heard of the author Mo Willems until this past week. Molly, my sister's sister-in-law loves these children's books and chose this for the theme of her baby shower. There weren't many ideas for cakes in this theme out there so it was up to me to come up with a design. The books are very simple, and so is Molly, so I decided to keep the cake the same...... simple. Molly loved it and I hope her guests did as well :)
So happy when Breana called me (I've made cakes for many of her family members) to refer her friend to me for a "Cars 2" cake. I had fun creating this with many fun colors. I hope that the Birthday Boy had a great day!!
